Curious about GYROTONIC® vs Reformer Pilates?
Both approaches offer different ways to explore movement, strength and mobility, but they work with the body in quite different ways.
Reformer Pilates uses a specialised piece of equipment with springs, straps and a moving carriage to provide resistance and support. Our small-group Reformer classes give you the opportunity to work on strength, control, mobility and coordination while receiving guidance from your instructor.
GYROTONIC® uses specialised equipment with pulley systems to guide the body through flowing, circular and three-dimensional movements. The method explores rotation, spiralling and different directions of movement, creating a more fluid experience as you explore how your joints and spine move through space.
